Memory, nature, nostalgia and whimsy play an enormous role in my process. I would describe my work as organic. I tend to manifest ideas through my memory bank and daily observation, particularly in nature, but also in popular culture and the materials I select that inform me as to their use, purpose and ability to speak a visual language. The seeds are planted through observation and once in process take their own form and adaptation until I am satisfied with the end result.
